Global Sketchwalk Ends at Aloha Tower

Although the weather looked less than inviting early in the day, the conditions downtown were actually quite pleasant – overcast and cool, with just the occasional drizzle. Our three-stop sketchwalk offered views of the aging Falls of Clyde (the last remaining iron-hulled four-masted ship), pub life, birds and fish, harbor activities, Aloha Tower, and of course the unavoidable backdrop of open ocean and swaying palm trees. All featured in our sketches. Taking advantage of the many sheltered spots in the area, we marked the occasion with a nice turnout (given the mildly worrisome conditions in the early morning) and lots of inspiring artwork. Happy Anniversary, USk!
