Ring in the Year of the Snake with Sketches

Join the festivities in Honolulu’s historic Chinatown to welcome the Lunar New Year.

The festival includes entertainment, lion dances, firecrackers, food vendors and a Lunar New Year parade on Saturday, January 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. on Hotel Street from the State Capitol to River Street. Here is a link to all the events: chinatown808.com.

We will not be sketching together for this event. I encourage sketchers to sketch in person from the event on January 25. Then send your sketches to uskoahu@gmail.com by Sunday, January 26 at noon. I will post all of our sketches Sunday night.

We will resume sketching as a group in February.

Happy sketching,

Terri
