Add a Little Joy of Reading to Your Art

Well, here’s an opportunity we, as Urban Sketchers couldn’t pass up.

It’s the inaugural O’ahu Indie Book Fest at the Hawai’i State Library.

The focus is a day of stories, creativity and community. That’s us Urban Sketchers!

O’ahu Indie Book Fest
Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026
10am to Noon
Hawai’i State Library

We’ll meet just outside the entrance. You are welcome to sketch the historical exterior building or inside as well.

There will be book signings with local authors and hourly giveaways. Admission is free. Read more about this exciting event.
