New and Faithful Urban Sketchers Gather at Capitol Modern
Posted: October 10, 2026 Filed under: USkO Leave a commentThank you to everyone who joined us to sketch at Capitol Modern this morning. I was happy to see a lot of returning Urban Sketchers as well as welcoming new faces.
After a pretty rainy Thursday on O’ahu, we welcomed the sun. Some of us were brave enough to sketch the front view of the museum with many details to sketch in 1.5 hours. Others sketched in the sculpture garden in the back with a peaceful place to sit. The smart sketchers sketched comfortably in the air-conditioned interior.
With a small museum bursting with character, there were a lot of options to really create original art everywhere you look.
SAVE THE DATE: Nov. 14 at Liliuokalani Botanical Garden. Hope to see you then!
