Our 100th sketch event is less than a week away! If you cannot carve time out of your morning to sketch or would prefer not to join in person, then please participate virtually anytime that weekend (07/25). Either way, we hope to see those sketches on Flickr! And, of course, the theme is: “Numbers”. Bonus points if you can find and sketch a #100. :)

USkO is Back!

Aloha fellow sketchers,

We are delighted to announce a couple of developments!

Before all, our next gathering will bring us to a big landmark:

Thank you, sketchers! To celebrate this achievement (and in response to the majority opinion expressed by you in the recent USkO survey), we would like to announce that our next event will be held in person on July 25 by the State Capitol. Details will follow in the event flyer.

Additionally, we want to take this opportunity to announce a change in USkO leadership and to introduce a new team of “administrators”. These will be familiar faces to all of you, and we are excited by their enthusiasm! More on all that later.

Celebrate #100! July 25. State Capitol. See you there!

Aloha fellow sketchers!

Mahalo nui for participating in our survey! It appears that a clear majority is in favor of returning to in-person events: 79% (11/14) feel comfortable or very comfortable to do so. Several of you also mentioned a preference for outdoor events, and we could not agree more – in particular now that some outdoor areas are less crowded.

We are still considering options for July’s events – stay tuned for details!
